Y clamó Asa á Jehová su Dios, y dijo: Jehová, no tienes tú más con el grande que con el que ninguna fuerza tiene, para dar ayuda. Ayúdanos, oh Jehová Dios nuestro, porque en ti nos apoyamos, y en tu nombre venimos contra este ejército. Oh Jehová, tú eres nuestro Dios: no prevalezca contra ti el hombre.
Entonces Asá le rogó a Yahvé su Dios, diciendo: “¡Señor, no hay nadie como tú para ayudar a los débiles contra los poderosos! Ayúdanos, Yahvé nuestro Dios, porque confiamos en ti, y en tu nombre venimos a enfrentar a esta inmensa multitud. Yahvé, tú eres nuestro Dios. ¡No dejes que simples hombres te derroten!”

І покликнув Аса до Господа, Бога свого, й промовив: Господи! чи ж се не в твоїй руцї, помогти чи сильному чи малосилому? допоможи ж нам, Господи, Боже наш, бо ми на тебе покладаємо надїю і в твоє імення вийшли ми проти сієї многоти. Господи! Ти Бог наш: нехай не переможе тебе чоловік!
І покликнув Аса до Господа, Бога свого, й промовив: Господи! чи ж се не в твоїй руцї, помогти чи сильному чи малосилому? допоможи ж нам, Господи, Боже наш, бо ми на тебе покладаємо надїю і в твоє імення вийшли ми проти сієї многоти. Господи! Ти Бог наш: нехай не переможе тебе чоловік!
И завапи Аса ка Господу Богу свом говорећи: Господе Теби је ништа помоћи множини или нејаком; помози нам, Господе Боже наш, јер се у Те уздамо, и у Твоје име дођосмо на ово мноштво. Господе, Ти си Бог наш, не дај да може шта на Те човек.
И воззвал Аса к Господу Богу своему, и сказал: Господи! не в Твоей ли силе помочь сильному или бессильному? помоги же нам, Господи Боже наш: ибо мы на Тебя уповаем и во Имя Твое вышли мы против множества сего. Господи! Ты Бог наш: да не превозможет Тебя человек.

ויקרא אסא אל יהוה אלהיו ויאמר יהוה אין עמך לעזור בין רב לאין כח עזרנו יהוה אלהינו כי עליך נשענו ובשמך באנו על ההמון הזה יהוה אלהינו אתה אל יעצר עמך אנוש׃
وَدَعَا آسَا ٱلرَّبَّ إِلَهَهُ وَقَالَ: «أَيُّهَا ٱلرَّبُّ، لَيْسَ فَرْقًا عِنْدَكَ أَنْ تُسَاعِدَ ٱلْكَثِيرِينَ وَمَنْ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ قُوَّةٌ. فَسَاعِدْنَا أَيُّهَا ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا لِأَنَّنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱتَّكَلْنَا وَبِٱسْمِكَ قَدُمْنَا عَلَى هَذَا ٱلْجَيْشِ. أَيُّهَا ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْتَ إِلَهُنَا. لَا يَقْوَ عَلَيْكَ إِنْسَانٌ».
و آسا به مقابله ایشان بیرون رفت پس ایشان در وادی صفاته نزد مریشه جنگ را صف آرایی نمودنند.
