De koning vroeg verder: Wat hebt ge eigenlijk? Zij antwoordde: Deze vrouw hier heeft tot mij gezegd: “Geef uw zoon, om hem vandaag op te eten; dan eten we morgen den mijne op.”

ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهَا ٱلْمَلِكُ: «مَا لَكِ؟» فَقَالَتْ: «إِنَّ هَذِهِ ٱلْمَرْأَةَ قَدْ قَالَتْ لِي: هَاتِي ٱبْنَكِ فَنَأْكُلَهُ ٱلْيَوْمَ ثُمَّ، نَأْكُلَ ٱبْنِي غَدًا.

王問婦人說:「你有甚麼苦處?」她回答說:「這婦人對我說:『將你的兒子取來,我們今日可以吃,明日可以吃我的兒子。』
