ועתה כל נביאי הבעל כל עבדיו וכל כהניו קראו אלי איש אל יפקד כי זבח גדול לי לבעל כל אשר יפקד לא יחיה ויהוא עשה בעקבה למען האביד את עבדי הבעל׃
وَٱلْآنَ فَٱدْعُوا إِلَيَّ جَمِيعَ أَنْبِيَاءِ ٱلْبَعْلِ وَكُلَّ عَابِدِيهِ وَكُلَّ كَهَنَتِهِ. لَا يُفْقَدْ أَحَدٌ، لِأَنَّ لِي ذَبِيحَةً عَظِيمَةً لِلْبَعْلِ. كُلُّ مَنْ فُقِدَ لَا يَعِيشُ». وَقَدْ فَعَلَ يَاهُو بِمَكْرٍ لِكَيْ يُفْنِيَ عَبَدَةَ ٱلْبَعْلِ.

So beruft nun alle Propheten Baals, alle seine Knechte und alle seine Priester zu mir, daß niemand fehle; denn ich habe dem Baal ein großes Opfer zu bringen. Wen man vermissen wird, der soll nicht leben! Aber Jehu tat es aus List, um die Diener Baals auszurotten.

But Yehu did it be'akbah (in cunning, in deception), to the intent that he might destroy the ovdei HaBa'al (worshippers of Ba'al).
