And the king caused him to swear in that day. 38) And Semei said to the king, Good is the word that you have spoken, my lord O king: thus will your servant do. וַיִּתְחַתֵּ֣ן שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה אֶת־פַּרְעֹ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרָ֑יִם וַיִּקַּ֣ח אֶת־בַּת־פַּרְעֹ֗ה וַיְבִיאֶ֙הָ֙ אֶל־עִ֣יר דָּוִ֔ד עַ֣ד כַּלֹּתֹ֗ו לִבְנֹ֤ות אֶת־בֵּיתֹו֙ וְאֶת־בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֔ה וְאֶת־חֹומַ֥ת יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם סָבִֽיב׃
ויתחתן שלמה את פרעה מלך מצרים ויקח את בת פרעה ויביאה אל עיר דוד עד כלתו לבנות את ביתו ואת בית יהוה ואת חומת ירושלם סביב׃
وَصَاهَرَ سُلَيْمَانُ فِرْعَوْنَ مَلِكَ مِصْرَ، وَأَخَذَ بِنْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَتَى بِهَا إِلَى مَدِينَةِ دَاوُدَ إِلَى أَنْ أَكْمَلَ بِنَاءَ بَيْتِهِ وَبَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ وَسُورِ أُورُشَلِيمَ حَوَالَيْهَا.
و سلیمان با فرعون، پادشاه مصر، مصاهرت نموده، دختر فرعون را گرفت، واو را به شهر داود آورد تا بنای خانه خود و خانه خداوند و حصار اورشلیم را به هر طرفش تمام کند.
