فَذَهَبَ ٱلْخَمْسَةُ ٱلرِّجَالِ وَجَاءُوا إِلَى لَايِشَ. وَرَأَوْا ٱلشَّعْبَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِيهَا سَاكِنِينَ بِطَمَأَنِينَةٍ كَعَادَةِ ٱلصِّيْدُونِيِّينَ مُسْتَرِيحِينَ مُطْمَئِنِّينَ، وَلَيْسَ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ مُؤْذٍ بِأَمْرٍ وَارِثٌ رِيَاسَةً. وَهُمْ بَعِيدُونَ عَنِ ٱلصِّيْدُونِيِّينَ وَلَيْسَ لَهُمْ أَمْرٌ مَعَ إِنْسَانٍ.

ထိုလူ ငါး ယောက်တို့သည် ထွက် သွား၍ လဲရှ မြို့သို့ ရောက် သဖြင့် ၊ မြို့သား တို့သည် ဇိဒုန် အမျိုးသားတို့ သတိမရှိသကဲ့သို့ သတိ မရှိ၊ မ စိုးရိမ်ဘဲ ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာ နေ ကြောင်းကို၎င်း၊ ဆုံးမ ပိုင်သော မင်း မ ရှိ ကြောင်းကို၎င်း၊ ဇိဒုန် အမျိုးသားတို့နှင့် ဝေး ၍ အဘယ်သူ နှင့် မျှ အမှု မ ဆိုင်ကြောင်းကို၎င်းကြည့်ရှု ပြီးမှ၊
이에 다섯 사람이 떠나 라이스에 이르러 거기 있는 백성을 본즉 염려 없이 거하여 시돈 사람같이 한가하고 평안하니 그 땅에는 권세 잡은 자가 없어서 무슨 일에든지 괴롭게 함이 없고 시돈 사람과 상거가 멀며 아무 사람과도 상관하지 아니함이라

Então aqueles cinco homens se partiram, e vieram a Laís: e viram que o povo que habitava nela estava seguro, ocioso e confiante, conforme o costume dos de Sidom; não havia ninguém naquela região que os perturbasse em coisa alguma; além disso, os sidônios estavam distantes, e não tinham negócios com ninguém.

Da gingen die fünf Männer hin und kamen gen Lais; und sie sahen, daß das Volk, das darin war, sicher wohnte nach der Weise der Zidonier, ruhig und sicher; und es war niemand im Lande, der ihnen etwas zuleide tat; sie besaßen Reichtum und wohnten fern von den Zidoniern und hatten mit keinem Menschen etwas zu tun.

Luego los cinco hombres siguieron su camino y fueron a Lais y vieron a las personas que estaban allí, viviendo sin pensar en el peligro, como los sidonios, tranquilos y seguros; porque tenían todo en la tierra para sus necesidades, y estaban lejos de los sidonios y no tenían ningún negocio con nadie.

Los cinco hombres salieron y llegaron a Lais. Vieron que la población que estaba en ella vivía con seguridad, a la manera de los sidonios, tranquilos y seguros, porque nadie estaba en aquella tierra que los perturbara en alguna cosa, ni quien se enseñoreara de ellos. Estaban lejos de los sidonios y con nadie tenían trato.

Then the five anashim departed, and came to Layish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless, after the mishpat of the Tzidonim, quiet and unsuspecting; and there was no one in authority in the land, that might put them to shame for anything; but they were far from the Tzidonim, and had no ties with adam.
