E Balaam rispose a Balac: Ecco, io son venuto a te; ora potrei io in alcuna maniera dir cosa alcuna? Ciò che il Signore mi avrà messo in bocca, quello dirò .
He answered him: Lo, here I am: shall I have power to speak any other thing but that which God shall put in my mouth?
And Balaam made answere vnto Balak, Lo, I am come vnto thee, and can I nowe say any thing at all? the worde that God putteth in my mouth, that shall I speake.

Balaam répondit à Balak : « Me voici auprès de toi. Mais ai-je le pouvoir de dire quoi que ce soit de moi-même ? Je prononcerai seulement la parole que Dieu mettra dans ma bouche. »
Y Balaam respondió á Balac: He aquí yo he venido á ti: mas ¿podré ahora hablar alguna cosa? La palabra que Dios pusiere en mi boca, esa hablaré.
Balaam le contestó: “Pues aquí me tienes, ya llegué. Pero no te hagas ilusiones, porque yo no puedo decir lo que se me antoje. Solo podré decir las palabras que Dios ponga en mi boca”.
Balaam respondió a Balac: «He aquí que he venido a ti. Pero, ¿tengo yo ahora algún poder para decir algo? La palabra que Dios ponga en mi boca, esa hablaré».
“Evo sam ti došao”, reče Bileam Balaku. “Ali hoću li ti moći sada što kazati? Samo što mi Bog stavi na jezik, to ću govoriti.”
A Valam reče Valaku: Evo sam došao k tebi; ali hoću li moći šta govoriti? Šta mi Bog metne u usta, ono ću govoriti.
And Bileam said to Balak, Behold, I have come to thee: but even now, have’ I really any power to speak anything? The word which the Lord putteth into my mouth I will speak.
Bileam antwortete Balak: Wohl bin ich zu dir gekommen. Aber werde ich wirklich irgend etwas reden können? Die Worte, die mir Gott in den Mund legt, die werde ich reden!

Балаам а рэспунс луй Балак: „Ятэ кэ ам венит ла тине. Акум ымь ва фи оаре ынгэдуит сэ спун чева? Вой спуне кувинтеле пе каре ми ле ва пуне Думнезеу ын гурэ.”
І каже Білеам до Балака: Се прибув я до тебе, та хиба моя воля промовляти що не будь? Слово, що кладе Бог в уста менї, те промовляти му.

ויאמר בלעם אל בלק הנה באתי אליך עתה היכול אוכל דבר מאומה הדבר אשר ישים אלהים בפי אתו אדבר׃
فَقَالَ بَلْعَامُ لِبَالَاقَ: «هَأَنَذَا قَدْ جِئْتُ إِلَيْكَ. أَلَعَلِّي ٱلْآنَ أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَتَكَلَّمَ بِشَيْءٍ؟ اَلْكَلَامُ ٱلَّذِي يَضَعُهُ ٱللهُ فِي فَمِي بِهِ أَتَكَلَّمُ».
بلعام به بالاق گفت: «اینک نزد تو آمدهام، آیا الان هیچ قدرتی دارم که چیزی بگویم؟ آنچه خدا به دهانم میگذارد همان را خواهم گفت.»

발람이 발락에게 이르되 `내가 오기는 하였으나 무엇을 임의로 말할 수 있으리이까 ? 하나님이 내 입에 주시는 말씀 그것을 말할 뿐이니이다'
バラムはバラクに答えた。「ご覧ください。私はあなたのもとに参りました。しかし、私に何かを自由に語る力があるでしょうか。神が私の口に置かれる言葉を、私は語ります。」
巴兰对巴勒说:“看哪,我已经到你这里来了。现在我岂能随意说什么呢?上帝把什么话放在我口中,我就说什么。”
