Cuando llegó a oídos de todos los capitanes de las fuerzas que estaban en el campo y de sus hombres, que el rey de Babilonia había hecho a Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam, gobernante de la tierra, y había puesto bajo su cuidado, los hombres, las mujeres y los niños, todos los más pobres de la tierra, los que no habían sido llevados a Babilonia;
