فَسَمِعْتُ ٱلرَّجُلَ ٱللَّابِسَ ٱلْكَتَّانِ ٱلَّذِي مِنْ فَوْقِ مِيَاهِ ٱلنَّهْرِ، إِذْ رَفَعَ يُمْنَاهُ وَيُسْرَاهُ نَحْوَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَحَلَفَ بِٱلْحَيِّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ: «إِنَّهُ إِلَى زَمَانٍ وَزَمَانَيْنِ وَنِصْفٍ. فَإِذَا تَمَّ تَفْرِيقُ أَيْدِي ٱلشَّعْبِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ تَتِمُّ كُلُّ هَذِهِ».

Da hörte ich den in Linnen gekleideten Mann, der oberhalb der Wasser des Flusses war, wie er seine Rechte und seine Linke zum Himmel erhob und schwur bei dem, der ewig lebt: «Eine Frist, zwei Fristen und eine halbe; und wenn die Zersplitterung der Macht des heiligen Volkes vollendet ist, so wird das alles zu Ende gehen!»

Luego, al oírme, el hombre vestido de lino, que estaba sobre el río, levantando su mano derecha y su mano izquierda hacia el cielo, hizo un juramento por el que vive para siempre de que sería un tiempo, tiempos, y medio; y cuando el poder de la destrucción del pueblo santo llegue a su fin, todas estas cosas terminarán.

Escuché al varón vestido de lino, quien levantó sus manos hacia el cielo y juró por Aquel que vive por los siglos: será por un tiempo, y tiempos, y la mitad de un tiempo. Cuando termine la destrucción del poder del pueblo santo se cumplirán todas estas cosas.

And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto Shomayim, and swore, By the One who liveth haolam (forever), it shall be for a time, times, and a half a time; and when there is an end of breaking in pieces the yad Am Kodesh (power of the Holy People), all these things shall come to an end.
