And Judith said unto him, And who am I, that I should gainsay my lord? for whatsoever shall be pleasing in his eyes I will do speedily, and this shall be my joy unto the day of my death.

omne quod erit ante oculos ejus bonum et optimum, faciam. Quidquid autem illi placuerit, hoc mihi erit optimum omnibus diebus vitæ meæ.
Then said Judith unto him, Who am I now, that I should gainsay my lord? surely whatsoever pleaseth him I will do speedily, and it shall be my joy unto the day of my death.
Ik zal alles doen, wat hij goed en aangenaam vindt. Want wat hem aangenaam is, zal ook voor mij het beste wezen, zolang ik leef.
All that shall be good and best before his eyes, I will do. And whatsoever shall please him, that shall be best to me all the days of my life.

Judit le contestó: “¿Y quién soy yo para decirle que no a mi señor? Todo lo que a él le guste, lo voy a hacer rapidísimo, y va a ser el mayor orgullo de mi vida hasta el día que me muera”.
Judit le respondió: «¿Quién soy yo, para contradecir a mi señor? Pues todo lo que sea grato a sus ojos, lo haré de prisa, y esto será mi gozo hasta el día de mi muerte».
Judita mu odgovori: “Tko sam ja da se usprotivim svome gospodaru? Učinit ću smjesta sve što je drago oku njegovu. Bit će mi to radost sve do smrti.”

καὶ εἶπε πρὸς αὐτὸν Ἰουδίθ· καὶ τίς εἰμι ἐγὼ ἀντεροῦσα τῷ κυρίῳ μου; ὅτι πᾶν, ὃ ἔσται ἐν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς αὐτοῦ ἀρεστόν, σπεύσασα ποιήσω, καὶ ἔσται τοῦτο ἀγαλλίαμα ἕως ἡμέρας θανάτου μου.
