ဖာရော ဘုရင်သည်၊ ငါ တို့ကို အလွယ်တကူမ လွှတ် ဘဲနေသောအခါ ၊ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည် ၌ လူ ဖြစ်စေ ၊ တိရစ္ဆာန် ဖြစ်စေ၊ သားဦး အပေါင်း တို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရား ကွပ်မျက် တော်မူ၏။ ထိုကြောင့် အဦး ဘွားသော တိရစ္ဆာန် အထီး ရှိသမျှ တို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရား အား ယဇ်ပူဇော် ရမည်။ ကိုယ် သား တို့တွင် သားဦး ကို ရွေး ရမည်ဟု ပြန်ဆို ရမည်။
그 때에 바로가 강퍅하여 우리를 보내지 아니하매 여호와께서 애굽 나라 가운데 처음 낳은 것까지 다 죽이신고로 초태생의 수컷은 다 여호와께 희생으로 드리고 우리 장자는 다 대속하나니

E endurecendo-se Faraó em não nos deixar ir, o SENHOR matou na terra do Egito a todo primogênito, desde o primogênito homem até o primogênito do animal; e por esta causa eu sacrifico ao SENHOR todo primogênito macho, e resgato todo primogênito de meus filhos.

Sucedió que, al endurecerse Faraón para no dejarnos salir, Yavé mató a todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, tanto el primogénito del hombre como el primogénito del animal. Por eso yo sacrifico en honor a Yavé todos los machos que abren la matriz y redimo todo primogénito de mis hijos.
