Καὶ ἦν πᾶς ὁ λαὸς κρινόμενος ἐν πάσαις φυλαῖς Ἰσραὴλ, λέγοντες, ὁ βασιλεὺς Δαυὶδ ἐῤῥύσατο ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐχθρῶν ἡμῶν, καὶ αὐτὸς ἐξείλετο ἡμᾶς ἐκ χειρὸς ἀλλοφύλων· καὶ νῦν πέφευγεν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἀπὸ Ἀβεσσαλώμ.

ואבשלום אשר משחנו עלינו מת במלחמה ועתה למה אתם מחרשים להשיב את המלך׃
وَأَبْشَالُومُ ٱلَّذِي مَسَحْنَاهُ عَلَيْنَا قَدْ مَاتَ فِي ٱلْحَرْبِ. فَٱلْآنَ لِمَاذَا أَنْتُمْ سَاكِتُونَ عَنْ إِرْجَاعِ ٱلْمَلِكِ؟»
و ابشالوم که او را برای خود مسح نموده بودیم، در جنگ مرده است. پس الان شما چرا در بازآوردن پادشاه تاخیر مینمایید؟»
ငါတို့ ဘိသိက် ပေး၍ ချီးမြှောက်သော အဗရှလုံ သည် စစ်တိုက် ပွဲ၌ သေ ပြီ။ ယခု မှာ ရှင် ဘုရင်ကို တဖန် ဆောင်ခဲ့ရမည်ဟုမ ဆို၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာ နေကြသနည်းဟု အချင်းချင်းအပြစ်တင်ကြ၏။
